“Benvenuti” - Welcome!

I invite you, your friends and guests, to share in the Italian tradition of “Buon Gusto” or “ the pleasures of the palate”.  Italy on the Plate provides a variety of ways to experience the taste of Italy and it is my pleasure to be your host in these adventures.


I was born in Prezza, Italy, a little village in the Abruzzo region, where my mother’s cooking was revered by all.  It is in her kitchen that I learned my love for cooking and the skills to shape that passion into a career.  My cooking took me to the U.S. where I worked in many different aspects of the food industry until finally opening my own restaurant, The Sunflower Café, where I spent many wonderful years and won awards and accolades for the thing I love to do best.


Now I have had the opportunity to return to my Italian roots where I offer cooking classes every summer at A Casa di Ezio, leaving me free, from October to June, to share Italian cuisine with you right in your home. Whether you would like an evening of learning to prepare Italian delicacies with your friends, or you would like to sit back and enjoy your guests while I prepare the dinner of your dreams for you, I promise to provide an experience that you, and your friends, will never forget.
